It is our heart’s desire to tell people the truth of Christianity. “Easy Believe-ism & Entertainment” has become the norm for many churches today. Many churches have become corporate structures and money driven, and it is time for a change. Many Christians have become stagnant, complacent, lethargic, and the church has stood still for years. It is time my dear friends for a revival! The church and its membership needs to be motivated to “Live The Life” uncompromised.
Raised in the small town of Joaquin in East Texas. Worked in the Oilfields of North Louisiana and East Texas for 25 years. Married Gail Ann Russell of Joaquin, have two grown children, Lindsey Baillio and her Husband Jody and my first grand baby Lila Gail of Shreveport La, and Noah Glenn Scruggs of Keithville presently attending LSUS. Surrendered to the ministry in 1994, licensed and ordained from Western Hills Baptist Church of Shreveport, La., Graduate of Louisiana Baptist University BA Biblical Studies God has richly blessed Gail and I as we surrendered to the ministry late in life and as a result we have seen God do many wonderful and great things in our personal ministry, MRBC, and its congregation. We are forever grateful for the love , care and inspiration that we have seen from the MRBC family. There is no doubt you will find that you are among one of the most loving and caring church families imaginable. Just “good folks” doing “good things” for God and His people. I am sure the church family will greet and welcome you with a smile, handshake or hug. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our children's ministries, nursery facilities, Sunday School, Private Daycare, and ACE Home School program from k4-12th grade. We pray that when you visit with us, that through the Word of our Lord you have been encouraged, challenged, rebuke, strengthened and most of all loved unconditionally. We may not be very big in numbers but powerful in spirit. We may not have all the things many others have to offer, but there is one thing we do have and that is LOVE.
